About

Hello, I’m Scott Imirie, owner/operator of My Adaptable Home, LLC. I am a fourth generation lifetime Montgomery County resident.

I have been involved in residential remodeling for over 15 years.  In 2008, I branched out to fill a substantial void in the handyman arena, the lack of professional, reliable and affordable tradesmen. My company, Handyman-Lite, focused on the smaller home repair and maintenance items many homeowners struggled with.  A strong work ethic and high level of integrity and customer service has earned me a great number of faithful customers.

My experience as a professional handyman has given me the opportunity to help many seniors in our community by installing handrails, grab bars, tub benches, ramps, etc. Not only have I immensely enjoyed serving and working with the senior community but I have also found the work to be personally fulfilling, while at the same time filling an important need for my clients.

My experience and training led me to earn the designation of Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist. This is a certification developed in partnership the NAHB and AARP to meet the needs of the aging and physically challenged population who wish to remain in their homes safely, independently and comfortably.  It is for these reasons that I have refocused my energy on forming My Adaptable Home, a professional and trusted ally in making your home safe and accessible. We are highly versatile craftsman with knowledge of all facets home modifications and improvements. Additionally, as part of our total customer service package, you can expect nothing less than a trustworthy, professional partner who will be respectful and sensitive to your needs.
